What is beef tallow and why do you use it?Grass-fed beef tallow is rendered fat from pasture-raised cattle. It's incredibly similar to our skin's natural oils, making it highly biocompatible and easily absorbed. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, tallow has been used for centuries as a deeply nourishing skin treatment. It's suitable for all skin types and helps balance your skin's natural moisture barrier.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes! Our products are formulated with gentle, natural ingredients that are ideal for sensitive skin. Tallow is one of the most biocompatible ingredients available, and our soaps are made without harsh detergents or synthetic fragrances. However, we always recommend doing a patch test if you have specific allergies or concerns.
What's the difference between your tallow moisturizers?
We offer tallow moisturizers in different sizes (2oz and 4oz) to suit your needs. Our whipped tallow moisturizer has a lighter, fluffier texture that's perfect for daily use, while our standard tallow moisturizer is rich and concentrated. We also offer a magnesium tallow lotion that combines the benefits of tallow with magnesium for muscle relaxation and skin nourishment.
How do I use the body scrubs?
Apply our body scrubs to damp skin in the shower, gently massaging in circular motions to exfoliate. The tallow in our scrubs means they also moisturize as they exfoliate, leaving your skin soft and nourished. We offer various sizes (1oz, 2oz, 8oz) and seasonal scents like Vanilla Salt & Sugar and Candy Cane.
Are your soaps handmade?
Yes! Every soap bar is handcrafted using traditional methods. Our rustic soaps, turmeric soap, and specialty bars like our Holiday Coconut Oil Soap & Shampoo Bar are made in small batches to ensure quality. Each bar is unique and made with nourishing oils and natural ingredients.
Can I use your products on my face?Absolutely! Our tallow moisturizers are gentle enough for facial use and provide deep hydration without clogging pores. Many customers use them as their primary facial moisturizer. Our soaps can also be used on the face, though we recommend starting with a patch test to ensure compatibility with your skin.
Are your products vegan?
Most of our products contain grass-fed beef tallow, which is an animal-derived ingredient. However, we do offer vegan options like our Holiday Coconut Oil Soap & Shampoo Bar. Check individual product descriptions for specific ingredient information.
How should I store my products?Store your tallow moisturizers and scrubs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Our soaps should be kept in a well-drained soap dish between uses to extend their life. Properly stored, our products maintain their quality for 12-18 months.

How long will my products last?
A little goes a long way! A 4oz tallow moisturizer typically lasts 2-3 months with daily use. Our soap bars last 4-6 weeks depending on usage and storage. Body scrubs vary by size, but the 8oz jar usually provides 8-12 uses.
